Agriculture committee opened applications for 2018 Crop Farmer of the Year

The Virgin Islands Agriculture and Food Fair Planning Committee announced on April 20, 2018, that it was accepting applications for the 2018 Crop Farmer of the Year.

The application deadline was May 4, 2018.

The committee said the 2018 Agriculture and Food Fair was scheduled for May 26 through May 28, 2018, at the Rudolph Schulterbrandt Agricultural Complex in Estate Lower Love.

Farmers seeking space at the fair were required to secure it by April 30, 2018. Applications were available through the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture.

The announcement also said people interested in volunteering for the fair could contact the event's volunteer coordinator.
