Bryan announces 14-member Millennial Council and names five-member leadership board
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced a 14-member Governor’s Millennial Council during a press conference at RT Park on St. Croix on Dec. 14, 2021, and introduced its five-member leadership board.
Government House said the council was created to provide the perspectives of younger Virgin Islanders in administration policy discussions and to submit regular reports on issues and policy.
The leadership board members were identified as Nyaila Callwood, 25; Kevin Dixon, 30; Treasurer Michael Pemberton, 28; Vice President Shamari Haynes, 29; and President Khalarni Rivers, 29.
According to Government House, the council’s 14 members were tasked with helping develop policy ideas and innovations for the territory.
