Bryan marks Virgin Islands History Month in statement

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on March 2, 2019, commemorating Virgin Islands History Month, which was established in 2006 by Act 6802.

In the statement, Bryan said March is a time to recognize the history and culture of the Virgin Islands and the achievements and contributions of its people. He also encouraged young people to research an outstanding Virgin Islander each day during the month and urged parents, educators and culture bearers to continue teaching the territory’s history and culture.
