D.C. United scheduled exhibition match against Bermuda on St. Croix

Government House said on November 11, 2019, that Major League Soccer club D.C. United was scheduled to play Bermuda’s national team in an exhibition match on November 15 at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex on St. Croix.

The match was set for 7 p.m. as part of a five-day postseason visit to the U.S. Virgin Islands coordinated by the Office of the Governor, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation, the U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association and Events DC.

Government House said tickets were priced at $20 and were available at several outlets on St. Croix and St. Thomas. Students accompanied by a parent or guardian were to be admitted free.

Players also were scheduled to join a Health and Fitness Expo at the D.C. Canegata Recreation Center on St. Croix from noon to 5 p.m. on November 15. A guided island tour for the team and their families was scheduled for November 16.
