Bryan ended indoor mask requirement in U.S. Virgin Islands, with exceptions
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. said during the Government House weekly press briefing on March 14, 2022, that the U.S. Virgin Islands' indoor mask requirement was lifted effective immediately.
Masks remained required in indoor and outdoor areas at ports of entry, in indoor and outdoor areas at public, private and parochial schools, and at hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare facilities.
Businesses were allowed to continue requiring masks for customers and staff at their discretion.
The announcement followed an earlier change in which the administration had lifted the outdoor mask requirement, except in those same areas.
