St. John outage scheduled for Jan. 5 to replace broken pole

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said 502 customers on St. John were scheduled to lose electrical service on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. while crews replaced a broken pole.
The planned interruption affected customers on Feeder 7E in Carolina, Hansen Bay, Calabash Boom, Emmaus, Eden, St. Quaco and Zimmerman, Hard Labor, Freeman's Ground and Zootenvaal, according to the notice published January 3, 2024.
