Virgin Islands government authorized $11 million in income tax refunds

Government House said on November 19, 2019, that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. had authorized the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue to release an additional $11 million in income tax refunds.

The government said the disbursement covered about 4,345 refunds and included some, but not all, returns filed for tax year 2017.
