Power outage scheduled for part of La Grande Princesse on St. Croix on Dec. 17, 2018

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said electrical service was scheduled to be interrupted from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, for about 52 customers in La Grande Princesse on a portion of St. Croix Feeder 6A.

WAPA said the outage was planned so crews could upgrade feeder equipment as part of transmission and distribution system work.

The authority advised motorists traveling through the work area to use caution.
