The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on October 30, 2023, that crews had preliminarily identified the location of a fault on Feeder 13 in an underground section of the line near Frenchtown.

WAPA said persistent rain created hazardous working conditions, leading the utility to suspend troubleshooting and repairs until conditions were safe.

The authority said the feeder rotation schedule remained in effect and could change once load could be accommodated. Any changes, it said, would affect only feeders within the set time block.
