Bryan names Kevin A. Williams incident commander for energy emergency
Gov. Albert A. Bryan Jr. named Chief Policy Advisor Kevin A. Williams as incident commander of the U.S. Virgin Islands' state of energy emergency, according to a Government House announcement published June 27, 2024.
The appointment followed the resignation of Jenifer O’Neal, the former director of the Office of Management and Budget.
Williams had served as chief policy advisor since October 2023.
Bryan declared the state of energy emergency on April 22, 2024, to address energy production shortfalls affecting the territory. In the role, Williams was to advise Territorial Command Officer Darryl A. Jaschen on implementing emergency response activities.
