Bryan proclaimed March 30, 2020, as Virgin Islands Day of Prayer, Fasting and Reflection

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a proclamation on March 28, 2020, designating March 30, 2020, as a "U.S. Virgin Islands Day of Prayer, Fasting, and Reflection."

The proclamation directed that business in the territory cease from noon to 1 p.m. on March 30.

Government House said local broadcasters, including WGOD, the WJKC family of stations, WSTX, WSTA, Reef Broadcasting, DaVybe and WVWI, planned to air five-minute prayers by local clergy every hour for 24 hours beginning at 12 a.m. on March 30 and continuing through 12 a.m. on March 31.

Government House also said Bryan, First Lady Yolanda Bryan and local clergy planned a prayer service from noon to 1 p.m. on March 30 from Government House in Christiansted, to be livestreamed on viconsortium.com.
