Public Services Commission commissioners and staff toured the Randolph Harley Power Plant and the Seven Seas water production facility on St. Thomas on April 10, 2024, according to the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority.

WAPA said the visit included briefings on power generation, water production, and work to maintain and repair older generating units. The authority said commissioners also received information on planned newer generation units.

The tour also included an explanation of how drinking water is produced from seawater through WAPA's partnership with Seven Seas, according to the release.

Pedro Williams, identified in the release as PSC chairman, said the tour was helpful as the commission addresses utility issues.
