Bryan nominated Carolyn Hermon-Percell to Casino Control Commission
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. nominated former Magistrate Carolyn Hermon-Percell on Feb. 17, 2022, to a five-year term on the Casino Control Commission as a representative from St. Thomas.
Hermon-Percell served on the bench of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands from 2013 to 2021. Before that, she was in private practice and worked as a staff member at the Legislature of the Virgin Islands.
The nomination was to fill a vacancy on the commission. Former Sen. Usie Richards said he would step down when his term ended at the end of February 2022.
