Bryan nominated Marvin Pickering to lead Casino Control Commission

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. nominated former Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue Director Marvin Pickering on October 9, 2020, to serve as chairman and chief executive officer of the Casino Control Commission.

Government House said Pickering served as BIR director from 2015 to 2019 and previously was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Cruzan Viril Ltd. for 17 years.

The nomination was to go before the Legislature. If confirmed, Acting Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Usie Richards would return to a regular board seat.
