The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled two electrical service interruptions on St. Croix for March 25 and April 6, 2024.

WAPA said about 30 customers in Great Pond, Cotton Grove and Estate Mount Fancy were expected to lose service from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 25 while conductors were transferred to a new composite pole.

A second planned outage was scheduled for April 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow the Department of Public Works and WAPA to relocate new poles to a new roadway.

WAPA said about 630 customers in Clifton Hill and part of Barren Spot were expected to be without power for about 45 minutes, while about 70 other customers were expected to experience an outage of about 90 minutes.
