WAPA names 2023 Employee of the Year award recipients

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announced on March 10, 2023, its 2023 Employee of the Year award recipients.
WAPA said 22 employees were nominated. The authority named Alex Hodge, messenger/repairman in Office and Property Management, as St. Thomas-St. John District Employee of the Year, and Rey Belardo Jr., line supervisor in Electrical Distribution, as St. Croix District Employee of the Year.
Kevin Harrigan, automation controls manager in Data and Automation, was named Manager of the Year.
WAPA also named Coecilia Bastian, janitor in Corporate Services, as the St. Croix Employee Choice Award recipient, and J'Mel Henneman, network assistant in Information Technology, as the St. Thomas Employee Choice Award recipient.
