The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its online payment platform would be unavailable from 4 p.m. on March 14, 2023, through 9 a.m. on March 15, 2023, for scheduled system maintenance.

WAPA said it would not perform disconnections for unpaid bills while the system was offline. The authority said disconnections would resume on March 16, 2023.

During the outage, customers could still submit checks or money orders at drop boxes at customer service offices or make payments at FirstBank, Banco Popular or Bank of St. Croix locations. WAPA said electronic payments would not be accepted by phone, through its website or at customer service offices during the maintenance period.
