Bryan traveled to Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines as Roach served as acting governor

Government House said on March 25 that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. was traveling on an official visit to Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach serving as acting governor during his absence.

According to Government House Communications Director Richard Motta, Bryan's Barbados schedule included visits related to education and sustainable development, including Ross University, the Rock Hard Cement Plant and local construction projects.

In St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Bryan was scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, visit agricultural and fisheries sites, and hold meetings with officials in finance, tourism and economic development.

At the same March 25 briefing, Motta said the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority would hold town halls on the VI Slice Moderate-Income Homeownership Program from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 25 at the University of the Virgin Islands Great Hall on St. Croix, March 26 at Muse on the Waterfront on St. Thomas, and March 27 at Da Event Lounge on St. John.

Motta also said government offices would be closed on March 28 for Holy Thursday, March 29 for Good Friday, and April 1 for Easter Monday.
