OMB projected $909 million in 2021 gross revenue at Virgin Islands revenue conference
At the Virgin Islands Office of Management and Budget’s 2021 Revenue Estimating Conference on August 10, 2021, OMB Director Jenifer O’Neal projected total gross revenue for fiscal year 2021 at $909,023,773.
According to Government House, the projection was about $71 million higher than the legislative appropriation of $838,933,534.
The conference included revenue projections from 18 government agencies and departments presented to Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. and Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach.
Government House said O’Neal would use the agency presentations to prepare a comprehensive revenue overview and forecast for the territory.
