OMB Director Julio Rhymer served as acting governor during Mapp trip

Gov. Kenneth E. Mapp traveled out of the U.S. Virgin Islands on the afternoon of June 12, 2018, for meetings with Arclight Capital Partners, the majority owner of Limetree Bay Terminals on St. Croix, and Island Global Yachting, which operates Yacht Haven Grande and American Yacht Harbor on St. Thomas.

Government House said Mapp was scheduled to return to the territory on June 15, 2018.

Office of Management and Budget Director Julio Rhymer was to serve as acting governor until June 14, 2018, when Lt. Gov. Osbert E. Potter was scheduled to return to the territory.
