WAPA held technical career fair on St. Croix on Aug. 19

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it held a technical career fair on St. Croix on Aug. 19, 2023, at the Sunny Isles Business Center.

According to WAPA, the event focused on technical job opportunities in its power plant, engineering and line departments. Attendees were able to speak with senior authority personnel about job skills, training, equipment and projects, and some applicants were able to apply for positions on site with assistance from the human resources recruitment team.

The Virgin Islands Department of Labor also attended and provided information on job openings on St. Croix.
