Bryan nominates Magistrate Ernest E. Morris Jr. to Superior Court

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on June 4, 2024, that he had nominated Magistrate Ernest E. Morris Jr. to serve as a judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.

Government House said Morris was educated at Yale University and Howard University School of Law. It said he had served as a judicial law clerk, president of the Virgin Islands Bar Association and, most recently, as a magistrate judge.

The administration also said Morris had participated in the Master of Judicial Studies Program at the University of Nevada and had been involved with the Junior Statesmen Summer School and the We Deh Yah Cultural Dancers.
