Bryan announces $20 million in income tax refunds

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. announced on Aug. 17, 2020, that the Virgin Islands Department of Finance had begun distributing $20 million in income tax refunds.

According to Government House, the payments covered the remaining refunds owed from 2017 and a portion of those owed from 2018.

The administration said the latest distribution brought total income tax refund disbursements for fiscal year 2020 to $58 million.
