Mapp condemned Pittsburgh synagogue attack
Gov. Kenneth E. Mapp on Oct. 31, 2018, condemned the attack on worshippers at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In a statement, Mr. Mapp said the Virgin Islands joined communities across the U.S. in mourning the loss of life and offered support to the families and friends of the victims.
He also sent a letter to Rabbi Michael Feshbach of the Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas expressing support for the local Jewish community in the Virgin Islands.
Mr. Mapp also offered sympathies to first responders injured in the attack.
