Government House scheduled its weekly press briefing for 1 p.m. AST on Monday, March 16, 2020, at the ACC Building on the University of the Virgin Islands campus on St. Thomas.

According to the announcement, Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. was to appear with VITEMA Director Daryl Jaschen, Health Commissioner Justa Encarnacion, Education Commissioner Racquel Berry-Benjamin, Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte and Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe.

Government House said the briefing was intended to provide updates on the territory’s response to the coronavirus.
