Road closure scheduled at Hannah’s Rest intersection on St. Croix for Campo Rico project work

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on September 11, 2023, that a road closure was scheduled on St. Croix in the Hannah’s Rest area for September 12 and September 13, 2023.

The closure was set to affect the intersection of Hannah’s Rest/Emancipation Drive and Queen Mary Highway/Centerline Road south of Frederiksted for both days. WAPA said flaggers and signage would be on site.

According to the notice, the closure was needed to allow storm-drain culvert repairs discovered during a tie-in for the Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project.
