The Moorings opened charter operations at Yacht Haven Grande on St. Thomas

The Moorings, an international yacht charter company, opened a new location at Yacht Haven Grande on St. Thomas, Government House said on Jan. 14, 2021.

Government House said the company would begin offering crewed charters throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands aboard its Moorings 5000, a five-cabin catamaran with capacity for eight passengers and crew.

The company also planned to begin offering bareboat and powerboat charters in the territory in March 2021 on its three-cabin Moorings 4000 sailing catamaran and its Moorings 433 power catamaran, according to the announcement. Government House said The Moorings planned to add more vessels to its St. Thomas fleet.

The announcement said the company would offer seven-day and 10-day itineraries throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands.
