WAPA governing board scheduled monthly meeting for June 25, 2020

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on June 22, 2020, that its governing board would hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom.

According to the published agenda, the board was set to consider Planning and Economic Development Committee items including approval of tank sales and a ground lease, a third extension for Fortress SC-22-19, a public power utilities mutual aid agreement, and a supplement to increase Purchase Order No. 072725.

The agenda also listed Finance and Audit Committee items including a request for approval of a comprehensive wage study, a fiscal year 2021 budget resolution, and a wage increase for management and confidential employees.

The meeting notice said the agenda also included the executive director’s report, an executive session for a legal matter and personnel matters, and adjournment.
