Bryan issues condolence statement on death of former Sen. Horace Callwood

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on September 15, 2020, extending condolences to the family of former Sen. Horace Callwood.

In the statement, Bryan said Callwood had dedicated his life to public service in St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands community. He also said Callwood had been a community advocate, entrepreneur, legislator, a Democratic Party organizer, and president of the Rotary of St. Thomas II Club.

Bryan said he and first lady Yolanda Bryan extended condolences to Callwood’s family, friends and others mourning his death.
