WAPA scheduled electricians meeting for St. Thomas-St. John district on Aug. 17, 2023

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled an "Electrician's Meet" for electricians on St. Thomas and St. John for August 17, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon at the first floor of the WICO Building on St. Thomas.

WAPA said its Transmission and Distribution and Customer Service departments would host the event. The authority said the meeting would include updates on its policies, procedures, and underground and overhead requirements.

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources was also scheduled to present at the event, according to the notice.
