Bryan and Roach met with cricket officials on Nov. 11
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. met on Nov. 11 with representatives of local and regional cricket organizations to discuss the state of the sport in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
According to Government House, those attending included Adeline Alexander, president of the Virgin Islands Cricket Board; Richard Skerritt, president of Cricket West Indies; and Enoch Lewis, president of the Leeward Islands Cricket Board.
The meeting included discussion of possible partnerships between the Virgin Islands government and the cricket organizations. Bryan also discussed efforts by the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation to find a new cricket pitch on St. Thomas and planned enhancements to the cricket pitch on St. Croix.
Lt. Gov. Tregenza Roach was named in the Government House announcement but was not mentioned in the body of the statement.
