WAPA governing board scheduled monthly meeting for March 25, 2021
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its governing board was scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting was to be held via Zoom and was open to the public.
According to the published agenda, the board was set to consider Planning and Economic Development Committee items including the Frederiksted Waterline Rehabilitation Project Phase Two, a fifth time extension for Fortress contract SC-22-19, revised contract administration guidelines, the Bovoni Point wind project, and a time extension for RG Engineering contract SC-53-19.
Finance and Audit Committee items on the agenda included proposed 24-month security contracts with Comprehensive Security Concepts Inc. for WAPA facilities on St. Croix and on St. Thomas and St. John, procurement of cables and accessories through American Wire Group under contract SC-18-20, two security contract extensions not to exceed 31 days, and approval of WAPA’s general liability insurance contract.
The agenda also listed an executive director’s report, an executive session for a legal matter, and adjournment.
