Bryan issued Mother’s Day message

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a Mother’s Day message on May 14, 2023, thanking mothers and women in the U.S. Virgin Islands who serve as mother figures.

In the statement, Bryan said mothers are "our first teachers and protectors" and acknowledged Virgin Islanders who were observing the memory of their mothers on the holiday.

He encouraged residents to share gratitude for mothers and mother figures and wished the territory a happy Mother’s Day.
