The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its Port of Sale customer service office and Al Cohen office in St. Thomas were scheduled to close at noon on Thursday, April 13, 2023, because of road closures tied to the UberSoca Cruise's jouvert activities in the area.

WAPA said it would not perform disconnections for unpaid bills on April 13 while the Port of Sale customer service office was closed. The authority said disconnections for unpaid bills were set to resume on Monday, April 17, 2023.

The authority said customers could still make payments by phone, online, or at FirstBank, Banco Popular and Bank of St. Croix branches.
