Bryan transmitted 36 fiscal 2023 executive budget bills before end of fiscal 2022
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. signed and transmitted 36 executive budget bills and appropriations for fiscal year 2023 before the close of fiscal year 2022 on September 30, 2022, according to Government House.
The package included an executive branch General Fund budget of $714,503,508, along with appropriations for the Virgin Islands Judiciary, the Legislature and the University of the Virgin Islands.
It also included $5 million for the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation for reconstruction of the Randall "Doc" James Race Track on St. Croix.
Government House said the additional appropriations brought the total General Fund operating budget to $1,030,924,736.
