Bryan sent Trump letter urging U.S. aid to the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. sent a letter to President Donald Trump on September 4, 2019, urging the federal government to provide aid to the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian.

In the letter, Bryan cited the U.S. Virgin Islands' experience after Hurricanes Irma and Maria and said Virgin Islanders understood the disruption and distress caused by major storms.

Bryan also sent a courtesy copy of the letter to Bahamian Prime Minister Hubert Minnis.
