St. Thomas administrator issued thanks to Carnival 2019 organizers

St. Thomas-Water Island Administrator Avery Lewis issued a statement on May 6 thanking individuals, Virgin Islands government agencies, agency heads and federal partners involved in Carnival 2019.

The statement said their work helped make the festival safe for the community and credited the public for strong attendance and support at Carnival events.

Lewis also gave special recognition to Department of Human Services employees for organizing activities for senior citizens during the festivities.
