Power interruption scheduled on St. Thomas for Ross Taarneberg, Mafolie and Hospital Ground
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said electrical service interruptions were scheduled on St. Thomas for Sunday, August 19, 2018, as crews continued transmission and distribution system upgrades on Feeder 8B.
WAPA said service was set to be interrupted from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. for about 15 customers in Hospital Ground. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., about 820 customers in Ross Taarneberg and Mafolie were expected to be affected.
The authority said motorists traveling through the work areas should use caution while crews were on site.
