Bryan issues statement after Legislature confirms nominees and approves line of credit

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on April 14, 2023, after the 35th Legislature voted to authorize the Government of the Virgin Islands to pursue a line of credit for recovery projects and to address the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s debt to its propane supplier.

In the statement, Bryan also thanked lawmakers for confirming several of his nominees to government posts, including judicial positions.

Bryan said he appreciated the Legislature’s vote and its willingness to work with his administration on unresolved issues.
