WAPA board scheduled regular meeting for July 28, 2022
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its governing board was scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
WAPA said the meeting would be held by videoconference, with conference room locations at the Sunny Isles Business Office second floor and the Al Cohen conference room on St. Thomas.
According to the published agenda, the Planning and Economic Development Committee was set to consider Geographic Information System services, the Hannah's Rest Waterline Rehabilitation, the Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation, and no-cost time extensions for the Midland Underground Project, Golden Grove Underground Project and Container Port Underground Project.
The Finance and Audit Committee was scheduled to take up extensions involving First Bank and Banco Popular, a Sunny Isles Shopping Center lease, and a short-term extension of the Aggreko lease for St. Croix. The agenda also listed a discussion item on a FEMA grant for prudent replacement to modernize St. Croix's water distribution infrastructure.
The agenda also included the executive director's report and adjournment.
