Government House, Bureau of Corrections launched inmate work program

Government House announced on April 12, 2019, that it had launched an inmate work program with the Bureau of Corrections and the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority.

According to the announcement, inmates were to assist with cleanup of towns, roadsides and other beautification work across the territory.

The program was scheduled to begin on April 15, 2019, with its first cleanup effort in Christiansted Town.
