Bryan issued statement on Aliyah Boston tying SEC women’s basketball double-double record

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on February 22, 2022, congratulating St. Thomas native Aliyah Boston after she tied the Southeastern Conference women’s basketball record with 19 consecutive double-doubles while playing for the University of South Carolina.

Government House said Boston, a junior and starting forward for the Gamecocks, had earned All-SEC, All-American and National Player of the Year honors.
