Bryan marks 59th Virgin Islands-Puerto Rico Friendship Day in statement

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. issued a statement on Oct. 6, 2023, recognizing the 59th celebration of Virgin Islands-Puerto Rico Friendship Day, which was observed on Oct. 9, 2023.

In the statement, Bryan said the annual observance marked 59 years of cultural ties between the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

He also congratulated the 2023 honorees: Daniel Rodriguez, Soé Diaz Soto and Domitila Vargas.

The Government House release included a photo caption stating that Bryan made remarks during an award ceremony for honorees of the 59th Virgin Islands-Puerto Rico Friendship Celebration at Government House on St. Croix.
