Bryan and Plaskett met with Main Street business owners on St. Thomas

Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. and Delegate Stacey Plaskett walked along Main Street in Charlotte Amalie on October 22, 2020, after a signing ceremony for a land-swap agreement between the Virgin Islands government and the National Park Service, according to Government House.

Government House said Bryan and Plaskett spoke with business owners about the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, discussed federal business-assistance programs and heard suggestions on how the government could help local businesses.

The item identified one stop as Gold Corner jewelry store, where Bryan spoke with Pash Daswani, a Main Street business owner and president of the India Society of the Virgin Islands.
