The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said it scheduled an electrical service interruption on St. Croix for Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. affecting Feeder 8B.

WAPA said customers on Feeder 8B were expected to lose service for about one hour at the start of the work and again for about one hour after the work was completed.

The authority said the temporary outage was planned to allow personnel to restore service to Molasses Pier safely.
