WAPA said electronic payment systems would be unavailable from Oct. 14 to Oct. 17, 2022
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said its electronic payment platforms would be unavailable from 4 p.m. AST on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, through 8 a.m. AST on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, for system maintenance.
During that period, customers would not be able to make payments online or by phone, according to the notice published Oct. 13, 2022.
WAPA said it would not perform disconnections related to unpaid bills on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022, or Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, and that disconnections for unpaid bills would resume on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.
The authority said customers could still place a check or money order in drop boxes at customer service offices and could make payments at First Bank, Banco Popular or Bank of St. Croix locations.
