WAPA scheduled Oct. 30 power interruption for about 100 customers in Lindberg Bay on St. Thomas
The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said about 100 customers in Lindberg Bay on St. Thomas were scheduled to lose electrical service on October 30, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WAPA said the interruption affected a portion of Feeder 6A while crews changed poles and equipment as part of transmission and distribution system upgrades.
The utility also advised motorists traveling through the work area to use caution while crews were on site.
