The announced calendar, which may be subject to modifications, initiates in February 2024 with training sessions designed to assist candidates in filling out nomination papers.

Key dates in the election timeline include:

• April 2024: Kickoff of the nomination process. Nomination forms become accessible on April 8 and can be distributed starting April 14. The period for filing nomination papers is set from May 14 to May 21. Candidates have until May 26 to withdraw their nominations.
• June 2024: Election Supervisor Caroline Fawkes is slated to confirm the nominees on June 11, with their campaign disclosure reports due by June 30.
• July 2024: Deadlines for political parties to submit their emblems for ballot printing. Voter registration concludes on July 3, coinciding with the commencement of voting machine inspections. The notice for the 2024 Primary Election will be issued on July 13, followed by an early voting period from July 16 to July 23. The Primary Election Day is scheduled for August 3, a Saturday.
• October-November 2024: Early voting for the General Election starts on October 14 and extends until October 28. The General Election Day is set for November 5, with the official results to be certified on November 15. If necessary, run-off election activities will occur between November 16 and 29.
