Woman on Probation For Drunken Driving Arrested in St. Thomas, Charged With Being Fugitive From Justice
ST. THOMAS — A Texan was arrested and was being held at the Bureau of Corrections in St. Thomas pending her advisement hearing on a fugitive from justice charge, announced V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Toby Derima.
According to the news release, on Wednesday at around 12:35 p.m., V.I.P.D/U.S. Marshal Fugitive Regional Task Force detectives arrested Breanna K. Ward, age 34 of Kingwood, TX, and charged her with being a fugitive from justice.
Customs & Border Patrol agents detained Ward at the Cyril E. King Airport after it was discovered that she was wanted in the state of Texas for a probation violation, Mr. Derima said. Ward was originally charged with driving under the influence in Texas, and her probation was revoked.
