USVI News and World Report broadcasted earlier exclusive possession of written communications between Senator Sarauw and her lover Katarina where the Senator appears to contradict her reliance on her youth as an explanation for her rude and disrespectful conduct as a teacher at a local High School in 2009.

In those written text messages the Senator uses profanity and threatens a female officer multiple times with violence. In another report the Senator was accused of banging on a female officer’s window at 1 a.m. These events occurred in 2018 nine years after the High School events that were the subject of a formal reprimand and during her tenure as a sitting Senator. It is unknown today if the Senator attributes her 2018 behavior to her youth as well.

At our earlier reporting Senator Sarauw was off island and could not provide a statement.

USVI News and World Report has granted the Senator every opportunity available for her response and we are anticipating the Senator will make herself available for an interview in the ensuing days.
